Week 4 – Eating Fat is a Good thing

Yes, can you believe this? Eating Fat is a good thing for your health.

Now, I have been through those years when Fat was the evil culprit, and we were told to eat a diet low in fat.

Now, after more studies and research we know that Fat is an important nutrient in our diets. We need fat to actually help our brain! When we eat the wrong type of fat better known as trans fats they are deposited in the brain and create blocked pathways which leads to decline in brain function. Dementia.

The good fats polyunsaturated fats, Omega 3’s are most beneficial to a healthy brain and body. Examples for would be nuts, seeds, avocados, oils, like olive oil, avocado oil, coconut oil, cold water fish like salmon.
